Dr. Sandra Sands has been serving the North County San Diego medical community as a Board Certified Family Physician since moving to California in 2005. She graduated medical school from Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1997 and later earned her Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences/Anatomy and Cell Biology at Oklahoma State University. Dr. Sands is known for her excellence in teaching, public communication, and surgical techniques. Most of all, Dr. Sands enjoys offering preventive medicine while practicing urgent medical care.
When it comes to patient care, Dr. Sands is known for her caring demeanor, attentive listening skills, and her ability to explain medical diagnoses in an easily understood way all while seeing patients on time. Dr. Sands speaks medical Spanish and welcomes everyone to Urgent Care of Vista.
